Good Children’s Books Can Help Give Your Child Incentive to Read

Do you have a child who hates to read? Is it like pulling teeth to get him/her to read their school assignments and instructions, let alone any outside reading for fun? You may need to give some incentives, because reading is vitally important to the child’s education.

Start by helping the child with their reading assignments. If they are required to read a whole chapter, break it up into smaller sections to be read at different times, so the whole doesn’t look as overwhelming. Listen to them read. Encourage them to not try to go fast, not be distracted, and pronounce each word carefully. Help them with sounding out the words.

Another thing to do is try to get them interested in a series of good children’s books that will really fit their interest, and offer incentives for reading. For example, a little bit of money for each book finished, or a special outing, or some other tidbit, because reading is so important you don’t want your child to fall behind.

Tips on Writing a Sales Letter

Do you have your own simple writing system? I am asking because many copywriters tend to over complicate their writing style, whether it’s writing a sales letter, website copy, or just an article. In most cases simple is always the better option. In case you are drafting a sales letter, here are some tips that you can follow:

Focus on just one benefit or feature of the product or service. Do not make it too tasking for the reader to understand everything that your product is capable of doing. Just select what you think is the best benefit of using that product and focus on it in your writing.

Use simple words. You are not writing an academic piece. Always make it your priority to help your reader quickly absorb all the information in your sales writing and you can best achieve this by writing simply and using simple words. Do not use two or three words when just one word can suffice.
